Mid‐century style restrooms featured some of the most colorful palettes at this point. Aqua blue and red were common colors for porcelain and tile. These colors were often paired with white, gray, turquoise, chartreuse, lavender gray, avocado or coral walls. You'll find many of these colors in the Sherwin‐Williams Suburban Modern Interior Historic Colors collection.
Carefully examine your bathroom space and the available rooms next to the toilet. Take accurate measurements of the toilet and adjoining rooms. Transpose those measurements to scale on the graph newspaper. Check for any closets posting a common wall structure with your bathrooms. Make sure to include the measurements of these closets. Check your pulling to find out when a wardrobe can be removed by you and add that space to your bathrooms. Does it square‐off your bathrooms? Will you miss the closet space? In the pre‐remodel picture here, the wallpapered wall structure on the right area of the hinged door was a wardrobe with an adjoining bedroom.
